“Good point,” Oliver said. The sweep of his gaze came to rest on the slim figure of a woman clad in a rose-coloured gown. The dress hugged her body, displaying lush curves to its full advantage.
She stood alone, slightly leaning against a pillar. He downed his glass before saying, “I think I have found exactly who I was looking for, Charles if you'll excuse me,” he bowed before walking toward the object of his attention, not giving his friend a chance to protest his departure.
